How can we get our infant used to sleeping in a crib?

My girlfriend has a 9 month old little boy (Cutest ever!) and we’re trying to get him used to sleeping in his crib. Any Tips?

For Nap time always put him in the crib so he can get used to it. If he does not like being in the room alone move a chair into the room (or cot) and be there next to him untill he is asleep and slowly move it closer to the door and further away…pretty soon you will be out the door and little Jr. will be sleeping in the crib
